A wonderful, caring diagnostician. Dr. Gainey has helped me with back injury, nerve loss in my legs, vertigo symptoms from inner ear function. He has been my neurologist for many years.

He treated my husband for Parkinson's disease and dementia. Dr. Gainey was patient with him and tried to explain to us what the future would be like.

Before a few weeks ago, I thought Dr. Gainey was a wonderful doctor until he closed up shop without warning. He was very good at diagnosing my condition and treating me for migraines. I was due for another round of injections and when calling to confirm my appointment, I found out through an answering machine that his office closed. I spoke to his receptionist after calling multiple times that told me he moved to California and assured me my records would be at my new doctors office in time for my appointment.....they were not! I left multiple messages requesting a call back and still haven't received one. Now I am back to suffering while I wait for my new doctor who is rushing to authorize my medication.

He was pretty good until he just walked away from his practice abandoning all of his patients inappropriately. A letter came telling me he was gone however his staff would be there to answer the phone and continue meds and get records ready for when you find a new provider, however all you get is a machine and so far no call backs. I'm on. A medicine that is dangerous to stop abruptly so I'm left scrambling to get to me gp to cover me so I don't have seizures and severe migraine from suddenly stopping this med. I'll be filing a formal complaint with the state he should Never practice again!

My family has used Dr. Gainey for many years and we are so disappointed that in a crises he did not come through, in fact, he never even called us back after several attempts to get in touch with him. We will never use him again and would like to warn all of his patients about his lack of empathy and character in our time of need.

Explains everything, with patience and in a gentle, caring way .Office staff is often abrupt. )One in particular, shines above the rest. If you make an appointment, fom your own opinion. I for one, am very pleased!
