Did the staff make you feel uncomfortable when you called with questions or concerns?
Absolutely! They made me feel like my questions and concerns were stupid
Does this provider give unbiased advice?
Definitely not! It was obvious they just wanted to make money!
Did this OBGYN promptly notify you about any test results?
No, it took forever for them to call
Were you able to relax during your appointment?
No, I had to leave I was so distressed

Went to this office for a routine swab test after my regular GYNO closed. Made appointment with Dr. Giron-Jiminez in the Bergen office- PLEASE STAY AWAY!!! VERY BAD DOCTOR AND HORRIBLE PRACTICE!

CONS:


First off the receptionist told me my insurance wouldn't cover an office visit because I had already had my annual exam- she was wrong of course, but fought with me regardless.

Then when I went there they lost my appointment- had no record of it, but told me to sit and wait and someone would be right with me.


Nearly two hours later I was sitting talking with a very sweet pregnant woman who tells me that it's taking so long bc Dr. Giron isn't in... Ok, well she was who I was there to see- So I go ask the receptionist and she says very flippantly, "oh yea she isn't here."

- NO one told me- they had another doctor for me to see (who thank god was a female) but NO ONE told me my doctor wasn't there and the office was so behind I literally waited TWO HOURS!!!

- Saw Dr. Hernandez- she looked 12 years old and while I was in the waiting room I looked her up on my phone- she's not even 28 and she graduated from the school of Ecuador

-Greedy doctor as soon as she saw my insurance tried to convince me to have a test to see if I carried genes that were positive for cancer- no reason to even bring this up I was a first time patient there for a swab test- absurd

- In the exam room I was changing- two of the nurses walked in (TWICE!) and never knocked

- They kept asking me why I still had my shirt on and I told them it wasn't an annual (ladies you should all understand that)

- Finally doctor comes in- tells me I have an STD- takes a chunk of my flesh off- I'm not even joking- and writes a prescription for me- THATS NOT EVEN WHAT I WAS THERE FOR !!!!! HMM MAYBE YOU SHOULDN"T GET YOUR MEDICAL LICENSE IN EFFING ECUADOR

- Took Blood to confirm diagnosis- they never called me with the results- I called them- surprise, surprise I don't have an STD- freaking incompetent @holes


- Next scene I get a bill from them saying my insurance rejected the payment because my insurance company says I was a guy...really? Worse office visit in the history of visits and these people can't even send in an insurance claim correctly?

-I call up the doctors office they insist that the insurance company has me listed as a man- which makes no sense since I've seen doctors all year with no problem

- I call up the insurance company they tell me that the doctors office billed the claim wrong

- I call the doctors office back- staff that doesn't speak any sort of English did NOT make this process easier- I told the girl I wanted to be faxed the exact claim that she had sent/received that said I was a boy-all of a sudden she couldn't find it... maybe bc it didn't exist to begin with? They refuse to acknowledge blame and I had to go back and fourth with the insurance company to get these people paid and out of my life.


Please go elsewhere- these people are hacks and this doctor should not be allowed to practice medicine- GO ELSEWHERE
