Al Furtado is a smart and caring practitioner! I woke up one morning with severe sciatic pain and was very concerned about what had caused it and whether it could get worse if I tried to ignore it. I got a referral to Dr. Furtado and I'm so glad I went to him. He examined me, confirmed my condition and explained the causes very well to me. He also discussed what I should do to ensure that I wouldn't have problems in the future. Then he used ultrasound, I believe, to work on the area, and finally showed me some stretches that were appropriate for that stage of treatment. He is extremely knowledgeable, and I believe that no matter what condition you would seek treatment for that he would deliver the same type of excellent care that I experienced.

Dr. Furtado is awesome! He was able to see me almost right away when I called (I was in a lot of pain, so it was nice to not have to wait too long). He is gentle, personable, and very knowledgeable. Within just a couple of sessions he was able to fix my problem, and gave me some good advice and great exercises to add to my workout. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a chiropractor!
