Dr Segal is very nice and funny but the office and staff are less than desirable. Her office is located in an eyeglass shop, and while taking my daughter there recently, i sat in the shop (not the office) to wait for her figuring they'd come get me should either my daughter or Dr Segal have any questions. Apparently the staff did not realize i was in the shop and the female associate decided to call clients to collect billing. She was aggressive in collecting payment, even at times when the payment apparently wasn't due just yet. Overhearing one of the conversations, the gentlemen on the phone was on vacation and unable to speak at the moment and the female associate gave him an issue about not making the payment, then insulted him to her coworker after they hung up. She referred to herself in a joking manner as "Billing Collector" and "unstoppable" at collecting payments. With an older couple, she required payment upfront and the gentlemen was taken back since usually it's billed thru insurance first. When it came time for us to pay, she asked for full payment as well - i immediately said why are you not billing thru insurance, then i pay the difference? She said they prefer their billing in this manner, and when i asked for a moment to contact the insurance company, she backed down and said they can submit it thru insurance first. It's that kind of bullying of the customers and unprofessionalism of the staff for the reason of my rating.

EXCELLENT office!!!! Every person that we have dealt with over the past 5 years has been helpful,friendly, and professional. Dr. Segal is fabulous with us and the kids all the time.

There is no comparison!

Definitely! I saw it as soon as I walked in!

Definitely! They always call me back very quickly!

Not one bit! I felt much better when I left!
