They always made sure that I wasn't in any pain. Their friendly demeanor and positive attitude really made my experience exceptional. They put in the extra effort to make me feel valued and important. They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation.

Based on my experience with this podiatrist, I wouldn't recommend them to my friends or family. If I couldn't find anyone better, I'd return again, but I'm hoping I can find better service somewhere else. I didn't have to wait at all after I arrived for my appointment. They were running on time, which is a really big deal for me. They told me a little bit about my treatments' risks and benefits, but I still didn't feel like I knew as much as I wanted to know. Their equipment feels old when compared with other podiatrists I have visited before. But wors than anything is that dr. Shoemaker does not listen too well to patient needs nor fully understands their concerns and just does what he wants to do. That's not how i remembered him in the past.

very nice podiatrist. He is always very warm and gentle. I have diabetes and he reminds me each time what to look for. I would highly recommend him

When I told them about my situation, they were somewhat understanding, but they could have been more caring. They didn't try very hard to understand where I was coming from. I left the office feeling that although I had gone to a foot doctor for help and advice I was just given a name to another doctor because Dr. Shoemaker either didn't feel qualified or didn't want to take the time needed to find the right solution for my situation. I will not ever recommend him to family or friends because in the end I don't think he cares enough if he has to put in time and effort to find a solution...I came in with horrible pain and I left without any tests or true diagnosis. He assumed that what he thought was the problem was the problem, but because I have multiple health issues it could be one among many things causing the pain, but I felt he just didn't want to invest the time to find out what the problem actually was....Very disappointed with the visit....
