Dr. Zerick did my surgery in 2005 with excellent results. He explained everything in great detail and made me feel comfortable.

Dr. Zerick did back surgery on me in 2013 and 2014. I cannot say enough good about him. He was very kind and listened to me completely. He made me feel very comfortable and confident. When I first went into his waiting area I was bent over because I could not stand up right. He walked a patient to the front to check out. He saw me at the counter signing in and the next thing I knew the nurse came out and got me to put me in a room. I did not have to wait long because he saw the pain I was in. He got me scheduled very quickly for surgery. It has been 5 years since my first surgery and I am able to walk, climb stairs and have a great quality of life again. Dr. Zerick is a wonderful person and a great surgeon. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

When I first went to him, he was nice, helpful, respectful, and seemed ready to help me get better. The next time I went to him, a couple of months later, it was like he had a Jekyll/Hyde personality! He was mean, nasty, disrespectful and demeaning. He had me in tears and said I was lying. He denied EVERY SINGLE THING he had told me on my first visit, acting like I was crazy. Thing is, I had the same family member with me both times, and we both heard what he said. Even my family member tried to tell him that he had heard him the first time, and he acted like we were both crazy, liars, or both. He said there was absolutely nothing wrong with me and refused to treat me. I had to go to a different doctor, who confirmed the diagnosis Zerick gave me the first time I saw him, and the new doctor took care of my problems and helped the pain I was suffering.. I would not recommend a dead dog go to this person. He may be nice at first, but he will turn like a snake into an evil, nasty person and act like he forgot ever seeing you before and give you a totally different, incorrect diagnosis and refuse to treat you. I have talked to 2 others that have had the same problem with him. Don't trust him at all!! Never ever dealt with a doctor before who acted like he had a split personality like this.

A to the point Dr.. Expects you to make make your own decisions. He cannot feel the extention of you do. Only you can decide if you are ready to commit ti surgery and the possible results.
