At my very first visit for mild carpel tunnel symptoms, Dr Heidi Bloom did not even want to explore non-evasive remedies with me, she wanted to immediately schedule surgery, and started telling me what she was going to carve up. I had to stop her and ASK her if there was any other option besides surgery, with ME suggesting wrist splints as a first try - but that I wanted to check with an orthopedic doctor first. She then tried to sell the surgery again, and I again suggested that I wanted to try wrist splints first, and which ones were approved. She finally conceded and sent me downstairs to be fitted. Haven't had a problem since, and I only have had to wear them a few times since December 2013. These doctors are too eager to slice and dice for big cash payouts. I'm NOT impressed, and have more distrust than ever.

Does this provider adhere to the customer is always right policy?
Absolutely not!! They never listen to customers complaints and argue with them

The worst I have seen

Not very well. I had to really look for it before I found it.
Did this provider seem up-to-date with the current advancements in their field?
No, they could have used some continuing education

Were you able to get answers to simple questions from this provider without scheduling an appointment?
Not at all! I had to schedule an appointment for absolutely everything!
Did this provider's staff seem to respect him/her?
Yes, I could tell the staff respected him/her
Did you experience unnecessary pain during your visit?
Yes, I wasn't comfortable at all
Are you confident that this provider will continue working with you until a solution is reached?
Not at all, I feel like they're constantly ready to give up on me
Are you going to visit this provider again?
Only if I couldn't find a better substitute

Have no fear. Heidi Bloom is the real thing. She has provided me with the most excellent care. She is the complete professional. All facets are 100 percent. Pre-op to Post-op you will find no faults. Her staff is also excellent as well as the surgical center she works with.
