Dr. Behrooz Broukhim performed two surgeries on me for a congenital defect in my left knee. Five months ago he told me I had outgrown the disease process in that knee. And then it happened again and I had to have emergency surgery while I was in Tennessee. When I returned to California, I called his office to make a follow-up appointment with him, since he had been my doctor for the last 34 years, and I was told he would not see me for 3 months because I "was a liability" to him. Because of that I was also told by the physical therapist office that I could not begin therapy without orders from the doctor. I requested that my records be sent so that I could take them to another doctor and two and a half weeks later I am not in receipt of the records. Now they tell me I can come pick them up.
