I worked with Dr. Hatfield back in 2005. I was a traveling surgical technologist doing an assignment there Des Moines. I'm here in Wichita, Ks now waiting for Dr. Hatfield to hire me as his private scrub. I'm ready to move up there. I miss you all and think about you often. You're an awesome surgeon.

Dr. Hatfield fused my L5 S1 and he did a fantastic job! He made me quit smoking and after researching it, I decided he was right! My surgery went very well and even though the surgery was about an hour late, I figured that my surgery lasted a bit longer than was expected I would hope the next patient would understand. He really explained things well to me and tells it like it is as far as making sure that I understood that what I could and could not do and the things that I needed to do if I wanted to heal. I would highly recommend him to friends and family (and already have). I feel much better then I did 6 months ago and that is due to him.

I love how much attention to detail they show. They are always so careful and meticulous. I never have to worry about them making a mistake or forgetting something. Their primary concern is my safety and comfort, and they always take the time to address every concern of mine immediately. They always have an immediate answer for me when I call with a question. They would never try to get me to make an appointment unless I really needed one.

I was scheduled to see Dr.Dave Hatfield for back pain and abnormal MRI. My appointment was made about a month in advance because he could not get me in for almost a month. When I arrived to see him, his staff members took my information and did some x-rays of my back. I was left in an examination room waiting to see the doctor but he never arrived after more than one and half hours; then, when I contacted the staff to inquire how much longer I would have to wait for the doctor to see me, the doctor appeared all of sudden in the lobby and told me that he would rather see me on another day in the morning and that he would instruct his scheduling clerk to reschedule my appointment. He ignored my requests to be seen as scheduled while I was already there esp. after waiting for over and hour and half and walked away from me. After I got dressed, I went to see the scheduling clerk in her office. She informed me by saying, "He will not see you today and the earliest I can get you in again would be Feb 10, 2012, a month from now." Then she stated that if I should require an orthopedic care for my herniated disk earlier than that, I should find another spine doctor. I left their office without an appointment because none was offered. She said, "I am sorry about this". The rest of the staff members also seemed surprised at the behavior of Dr. Hatfield. Thus, I found him to be a cold hearted and arrogant doctor who is so conceited that he shows no care and keeps patients waiting for long periods of time. Date of experience: 1/11/2012; Time 4.30PM.

Immediately! They gave me a friendly greeting as soon as I walked in
