Got to the appt right on time, and had to wait almost an hour with a broken ankle and in great pain. They finally take me back, and the first thing out of Kinnard's mouth is he's accusing me of being late and ruining his day, and therefore he would only give me 2 minutes of his time. I was speechless. He was very rude and unprofessional, not to mention grossly mistaken. But he would not let it go. I have never been treated so badly by a person in the medical field. He was more concerned with his social schedule than my broken black and blue ankle. Finally the PA tells him to stop... she was clearly embarrassed, and apologized to me after he left the room. Aside from his rude and hostile conduct he never physically examined my broken ankle, was reluctant to look at the xrays (he complained I brought them on CD vs. film, which is what the ER gave me), and prematurely began to schedule me for surgery without going over anything with me. I got the heck out of there, refusing to pay for the appt, and wrote a complaint to the head of the practice who apologized and waived the fees. I then found another doc (Dr. Rollo) who treated me without surgery by simply casting my ankle and I fully recovered. Unless I want to be mistreated and risk having an unnecessary surgery, I will stay away from Kinnard.
