Dr. Dowds made correct and timely decisions that ultimately saved my fathers life. He brought together all the necessary doctors so that everyone was clear and there was a plan going forward. It was a team effort, but clearly he brought the team together and acted as the point man. I feel fortunate to have Dr. Dowds taking care of my Dad.

He didnt suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. He was considerate and professional. He seemed to be an attentive doctor. He listened carefully to all my input and concerns, and made sure they addressed every concern before I left. He did a fantastic job. I didn’t feel like he rushed, but we only met with him in the hospital ICU setting. He made sure all my questions were answered. He seemed sympathetic to my situation, and made me feel cared for.

I will never again attempt to see this doctor. To show up on time for my appointment to be told he has left for the day - with no phone call, no contact of any kind and when I said that to the staff, I was told she had a busy morning - well so did I and I didn't need to waste 45 minutes driving to his office to find this out!

It is impossible to get a person to talk to when you call the office. There is always a direction to leave a message and they will call back. I think it is very rude for a doctors office not to have someone to talk to when I have a question as I am not always at home when they call back later.
