He spent a lot of time time answering my questions. He even called me after my surgery to see how I was feeling. I was very satisfied with my experience with Dr. Kamali.

They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. It was pretty hard to find the building, but I eventually found it.
This Doctor is rude and he is the ONLY one right about anything.
He schedules a million tests because he is highly INSECURE!
God help you if you use him.

This Doctor talks down to patients, and as someone said earlier, he is arrogant and does not have a very good bedside manner. I wouldn't use him ever again.

I have never been to the office - my encounter with Dr Kamali was strictly within the confines of my hospital room. He impressed me from the word GO by informing me that until certain tests had been performed and risks assessed (due to age and smoking) no decision could be made on whether surgery would be performed. He took time to explain all this to me, plus the results of all the tests. I would most certainly not hesitate to contact him again if I felt I needed his services and he was unfailingly courteous to me. I have great respect for him.

Were you able to get answers to simple questions from this provider without scheduling an appointment?
Not really. I had to schedule an appointment for most of my questions.
Did this surgeon thoroughly explain the risks and benefits of your treatment?
Yes, I felt informed when I left

They gave me information that was no help at all with my condition. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. The doctor was rude, arrogant and judgmental. I wasn't even examined. He made assumptions and accusations of my lifestyle without any history to base it on. I honestly felt like an annoyance to them. It seemed like they wanted me to leave as soon as I got there. Not only did they not welcome my questions, they just dismissed them as unimportant. They didn't really care about helping me. I was sent away with the knowledge that my condition is possibly life threatening but he refused to help because my risk factors might have messed up his perfect surgery record. Yes, he said that. He made sure I knew all the gory details of what can happen without this surgery after he told me he wouldn't do it. All this after driving 2 hours to get there and then waiting about 2 hours to get in to see him. If I rescheduled they would mark my file as non-compliant even though he was the one 2 hours behind. I was physically ill after this visit.
