Dr. Harvinder S. Birk is an excellent neurological doctor in the Redding area. I had seen a neurologist in the Sacramento area for years... My dad had to drive me to and from Redding (in Cottonwood) spent 5 minutes in the neurologist (after driving two and a half hours to three hours) in Sacramento. I (as well as my parents) we're not happy with the services that the neurologist (Dr. Robert Burgerman) had offered. I've switched to Dr. Birk and been seeing him for quite a while... I would highly recommend Dr. Harvinder S. Birk to anyone who is looking for a neurologist.

All he ever does is prescribe medicine He never runs any tests to try and figure out what's wrong and I don't know how many times he has fallen asleep in the middle of my visit be he has narcolepsy I don't know how he can even hold a medical license

Not at all, it was very peaceful and quiet

Dr. Birk's staff always make sure to return my phone call as soon as possible. They've never left me waiting. One of the first things I noticed about Dr. Birk's office was the level of detail and attention to make the building handicap-accessible. Even the bathrooms were designed to be accessible with doors wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs and grab bars in the stalls. You could tell they really made an effort to accommodate people with all different needs.

Not only was Dr. Birk able to make me comfortable, he went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations.

Not only do my appointments never get canceled last minute, Dr. Birk's staff take time out of their day to send me a reminder so I don't forget. They are extremely reliable.

Dr Birk really did an outstanding job making sure every single question I had was answered thoroughly and completely.

The staff Lindsay, Erica, and Terra - they go out of their way to accommodate my schedule. I always get the appointment time I want. Not only do they never postpone my appointment, they always try to get me in as soon as possible. I love that I can always get an appointment right away, and I never have to worry about them rescheduling it. It is obvious that their office is cleaned regularly. It was fantastic.

Not only do Dr. Birk's staff never postpone my appointment, they always try to get me in as soon as possible. I love that I can always get an appointment right away, and I never have to worry about them rescheduling it.

I didn't experience any unnecessary pain during my visit, and I was amazed at how much better I felt after I saw Dr. Birk. I felt that Dr. Birk, he really valued my health and happiness because he followed up even after my appointment just to check up on me. It was such a nice gesture that made a huge difference.

DrBirk explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan. I was seen almost as soon as I walked in the door.

The office was well organized and clean. I could tell they took a lot of time making sure it was presentable. Just as a side note, this business is really conveniently located and is close to both SRMC and Mercy Hospital. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better.
