Dr Shabnam is attentive and asks you questions to clarify rather than assume what you mean. She has a kind manner and is very knowledgeable. The staff are all friendly and warm. It is a small clinic and everyone is always busy but takes the time to know who you are. Usually, the appointments are quick without having to wait for a very long time. Occasionally, I may have a long wait but it is usually because they are working in someone with an emergency.

She is not loyal to her patients. If she decides you are not worthy or too tough of a case, out the door you go. Initially, Dr Shabnam will be on her best behavior until she has any controversy to address. At this time, her demeanor abruptly changes to confrontational and looks to dump the patient on the street. You are not given a reason or the courtesy of a face-to-face explanation. Dr Shabnam decides who she will treat based on her own interpretation of what is best for her career and for her bank account. She has demonstrated on numerous occasions that when times get tough, she will abandon her patients and move to another practice or start a new one with a fresh name to cover her tracks. I do not recommend her under any circumstances.

Dr. Shabnam was actually very attentive and caring during my visit with her. I have been suffering from CFS for 10 years now and nothing has helped my symptoms. The only medication that even allows me to function in even the slightest way is a medication normally prescribed for ADHD. I understand that this is a heavily regulated mediation (trust me, I have had to jump through many, many hoops to continue to take this mediation over the years). However, when I called to have my prescription refilled, both the staff of the office and Dr. Shabnam completely failed to provide even basic levels of decency. I called in a week and a half prior to needing my refill. I was on hold for almost 15 minutes before a receptionist picked up the phone. I was then told that she would call me back when my prescription was ready. I never received a call back, so 3 days later I called to follow up. Again, I was on hold about 10 minutes before someone answered the phone, and I was told that my prescription would be ready for me the next day at the front desk. I was out of town for business, so I did not go to the office to pick up my prescription until 3 days later, which was a Friday. I got to the office at 8:00 a.m. I work, so I wanted to just run in and pick up the prescription on my way to work. I was told that not only was my prescription not at the front desk, but that the doctor would not be in the office until 9:30. I do not understand why I was told my prescription would be ready 3 days earlier when in fact that was not the case. This is a mediation that cannot just be called into the pharmacy, so the only way I can get it is to pick it up every month at the doctor's office. Since I was out of the mediation by this time, and without it I cannot even get out of bed, I was forced to come back at 9:30 to retrieve my prescription. I called the office in advance of my return, and then when I showed up, my prescription was STILL not ready. I waited in the office for AN HOUR for the doctor to write my prescription. By the time I received my prescription, I was in tears. I cannot believe what I continue to have to go through just to get the medicine that allows me to do more than sleep 20 hours a day. The staff did not seem to care that I had to go to work, or that I had called multiple times to request this prescription and even informed them that I would return to pick it up later when I was that same morning. There was no explanation for why it was not at the front desk as it should have been. I have been on this medication for 7 years and I have never had such a terrible experience. I was over 4 hours late to work and I still have not received even an apology. I will never return and will never recommend this doctor or office to anyone.

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The office was easy enough to find. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed.
