I did not have insurance when I went to visit Dr. Brouillette, and he worked with me to find the cheapest solution to my health concern. He even knocked some money off of my payment. I only have had to visit him once, but I would go back again in a heartbeat if I ever needed to. He was the best doctor I ever spoke to. He listened to me thoroughly, he let me tell him exactly what was happening to me and explain it all out. I even broke down crying in his office and he was very sympathetic and a very caring doctor. I did not feel rushed at all through this appointment. He took all the time with me that I felt like I needed, and that's something I never experienced with another doctor. He is an excellent doctor and I would recommend him to anyone that asked.

Dr. Brouillete was my physician for about 7 years. I always gad to wait at least 1 hour before being called back to a room, where I would wait for another 40-50 minutes. I was new to the area when I first seen Dr. Brouillette and continued to go to him because i did not have any major problems, cold or flu was about the extent of it. However when my health started to present a few more problems and Dr. Brouillette was needed to identify the problems, he seemed to be baffled and said I had diabetes. I got a second opinion and found out that I do not have diabetes, I have a thyroid issue. I also had an occasion that I tore my rotator cup of my shoulder. Dr. Brouillette was very reluctant to give out any medication for pain. Nevertheless after arguing with him for a few minutes he agreed to prescrbe me some low dose pain pills. I could not get into the Orthopedic Doctor for several days and ran out of the pain pills on a weekend. I called the doctor office and got an answering service that said his partner in his office Dr. Hudson was on call and would call me back. He called within 10 minutes and treated me like I was bothering him and that i was just seeking drugs. I was in pain and was not seeking anything but relief for the pain. I am in law enforcement, which Dr. Hudson did not know and dought he knows now. I guess he will find out if I ever have the opportunity to uphold the duties of my position with this doctor. That was the last time I had any contact with this doctor Hudson or Dr. Brouilette. Just because you are a doctor you do not have the right to act like a god. I look forward to the day I can meet Dr. Hudson on my grounds of law enforcement and I will treat him as he treated me. I would not go to the North Shreveport Family Medicine or either Dr. Brouilette or Hudson.
