My family and I have been patients of Dr. Detweiler since he opened his practice. Over the past 15 yrs we went from seeing him to seeing whoever he had in his office on any given day. He hires interns who not only diagnose you but they do so from reading a textbook in front of the patient. There is ABSOLUTELY NO PROFESSIONALISM amongst the people in his office. There is no consistency and stability within his doctors. Its impossible to develop a relationship with the Drs and PAs because they are constantly changing. That creates a sense of distrust and discomfort. His office staff are horrible degenerates. I had the displeasure of dealing with one named Vanessa who feels she owns the office. She turned me away claiming I was late for an appointment that she actually made. To make matters worse she refused to allow me to see the PA. Total disregard for what my issue was. She was rude and obnoxious. Upon telling her my insurance had changed she told me some ridiculous story of how the Drs name must appear on my insurance ID card. I had to basically explain her job to her because she was giving me misinformation. I stayed a patient for so long because of his PAs Donna and Carey (whom he let go) and because of Jane and Leighann from front reception. Everyone else seems to be high school drop outs who did a 3 montj crash course in some medical course snd think they are somehow official RNs. Dr Detweiler is never around. He seems to be hell bent on money and making money. And all his office does is send you bills over your insurance. They charge you for an annual physical exam and to receive the results which are both covered my insurance. Totallu disgusted. They once charged my brother just for a Dr to look at him. Not speak or check him out. Just for looking at him. I refuse to be a patient there going forward. And I will pass my review and experience on to everyone I know. Total disappointment after 15 yrs of being a loyal patient!
