This place is incompetency on parade. My wife had an appointment 12-11 for her reclast procedure. When she arrived at the hospital she was told that her blood results had not been sent to the hospital by Sloan's office. After numerous calls, which there was no answer, she drove to Sloan's office, and spoke with a receptionist about the issue, which she pleaded ignorance, after searching, the document was found on TOP of the copier, may I repeat, on TOP of the copier. My wife grabbed the document & took it to the hospital, unfortunately it was too late & her reclast had to be rescheduled. This wasn't the first screw up by these people. Do not, I repeat, do not get involved with these people.

The office staff is disorganized and a bit haphazard and not at all concerned with the confidentiality or the privacy of the patient. The staff is lackadaisical in their treatment of the patient. The office itself is in need of a thorough cleaning. It's an old office building so a sensible remodel would be an improvement. I like Dr. Sloan.

Unfortunately, it appears that Dr. Sloan feels that he can do whatever he wants as he is the only endocrinologist in the area. He is not a mean person, but he does not seem to make an effort to be friendly either. Judy, his PA, is great and I would totally recommend seeing her, but Dr. Sloan is not much to write home about. I was asked to schedule MANY appointments (each time sending me to do a test and come back) even though I live 30 minutes away. The front office staff is very nice but it is very inconvenient that they do not accept any electronic payment. If there was another provider even remotely close, I would be leaving to see that person.

They barely ever answer any of my questions over the phone, and I've had to make way too many appointments. I was hoping that they would be sympathetic to my situation and understand where I was coming from. Instead, they made it completely obvious that they didn't care about me. When comparing them to others in their field, I would say they are by far the worst I have ever seen. I will never return. They had a sign on the inner door warning not to upset the nurse, because they pick your needle size; I thought how tacky, like a waitress warning you that they might spit in your food. The staff made an appointment for me without alerting me to the fact the doctor would be on vacation the day of my appointment and would not be in office to see me, instead they took my vitals and told me to make another appointment. Finally I learned they do not take electronic payment and only except check or cash.

Worst doctor ever! You never see him, only his staff. If you want a specialist, do NOT go there. If you want a PA that has just recently gotten out of school, then they are who you should go to. He is negligent in his care for his patients since he never sees them, only says he reviews what the PA says but never sees you, which for an endocrinologist is absolutely necessary. He says he will see you if you have a problem but if you didnt have a problem you wouldn't be going to him!

Every time I asked the staff a question, they referred me to someone else

Not at all, they were glad to help me with anything I needed

Kind of, but I they could have been more understanding
