The name of this office has changed to Diabetes Endocrinology and Metabolism Assoc. Their offices are in Fort Mill and Pineville. All I can say is beware. It takes a lot for me to complain about a doctor because I am a nurse and am aware of the state of the healthcare system. But this office is a complete mess. You call and never get a person and when you leave a message it will be days before you get a call back. If you have to cancel an appointment and call prior, you don't get a person and have to leave a message. The staff will tell you that you didn't call and that you were a no show, then try to charge you a no show fee... That didn't happen.. I had proof I called. When you are actually able to make an appointment and do go in to the appointment, there are times you are told that either you cancelled the appointment or you never made the appointment (ie - they never logged the appointment). Many (not all) are VERY rude and not personable. Dr. Uzomba on your initial visit seems quite knowledgable and will take the time with you; however, after that he is unreachable (His hours are very limited). He will order high dollar tests and in order for you to get the results, you have to go pick them up and pay for each page. He never reviews them with you, that is IF you can actually get a follow up appointment. There is another "Doctor" in the practice, Dr. "Ben". Have no idea if he is actually a doctor or not. His credentials are nowhere to be seen and he doesn't see patients but does all the expensive tests. I got so fed up that I just collected my results and will find a more competent office.

I showed up on time for my appointment but they weren't even there yet. I had to wait quite a while for them and my entire day's schedule was messed up. I was disappointed that their staff didn't seem to respect them very much. They weren't disrespectful but I could tell they didn't have a very good relationship. I had to wait quite a while for my appointment. I was very disappointed. They definitely didn't have enough staff members on hand. It seemed like one person was trying to do everything, and I ended up waiting for a very long time. The restrooms at this office were disgusting and smelled horrible. I couldn't even go. Obviously nobody cleans them or maintains them at all. The Doctor accomplished nothing nor answered any questions of my and was extremely rude. He also had a patient get in his face and walk out the same day I did due to his complete disrespect towards his patients.

No, it was obvious the staff didn't think he/she was qualified

Yes, they need to clean or sterilize their facility more

Yes! I know that I would have gotten better service anywhere else!

Absolutely, even the bathrooms are handicap-accessible

Absolutely! They are always very careful and meticulous

They ignored my questions and my appointment seemed rushed. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed.

They will not help you over the phone. He order out-of-date, expensive tests, and never referred me to a specialist.

Horrible, never go there.

They definitely promised me a few things that they weren't able to fulfill. Most of what they said was accurate, but not all. They had a couple of interesting magazines, but their selection wasn't very impressive. I did not feel safe at all in their care. I definitely had doubts about their qualifications. Everything I told them seemed to go in one ear and out the other. I didn't feel like they cared about what I had to say at all.
The most bothersome thing was the office personnel. I made a payment arrangement in the beginning. 3 visits in they wanted over 700 dollars from me after my insurance paid two grand or the Dr would not see me. No ethics, does not care about patients, only cares about money. I would recommend finding another Endocrinologist.
