I had a very pleasant office visit this month. An appointment first thing in the morning is the best way to go. There was almost no waiting and Dr. Kutas had plenty of time to answer all my questions.

It took a long, long time to get an appt and when the day finally arrived, I had to wait forever. An hour or two wait seems to be the norm, not caused by an emergency, just way overbooking. The doctor seems competent for the 3 or 4 min he spends with you, but the staff all seem to HATE their jobs. It was obvious that they wanted to be somewhere else. I'm undecided if I would refer any of my friends or family here. I dont refer anyone to his office because it would be a disappointment for any new patient.

They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. They are almost always unavailable. It can take MONTHS to get an appt, that is if you can ever get someone on the phone.Their staff was very friendly with other staff members, but curt & unfriendly w/ patients. also, the staff gives lots of incorrect info about what insurance they accept. Dr Kutas is a highly recommended endocrinologist, but wont even discuss weight ( a very common problem w/ thyroid patients.)

I know Dr. Kutas is an excellent doctor when he has the time. After waiting two hours in the waiting room (typical waiting time), the time spent with him is very rushed. I don't like having an office clerk calling me at home with my test results. I was shocked to hear of a second tumor. Dr. Kutas never mentioned this to me in my office visit.
He either didn't read my information or didn't pay any attention to it. Even though he had my information right in front of him,
He has a very good professional reputation.
