I worked in Fairfax County, VA and around the time of retirement, transfered to this endocrinologist in Winchester, VA. My previous doctor performed an A1c when I entered the exam room. By the time the nurse completed my weight, temp and BP, the A1c results were complete. With this doc, I'm sent to Piedmont Lab in Winchester. An A1c monitor is available in Wal-Mart for less than $50.00! My previous doc checked my eyes, feet, hearing, listened to my heart and had me to do resistance with my hands and arms. Three year later, I now know why. He was checking for symptoms of frozen shoulder, a diabetes related illness! I may start calling my BS numbers in to the office since he only looks at those anyway. At least I would save myself travel to the office and a co-pay!

Every time I asked the staff a question, they referred me to someone else
