I'm not one to typically write reviews but felt I had to since I was essentially Robbed by North Shore Dermatology.

I went here for years as a patient of Dr. Osi-Tutu, who left the practice. I saw the main doctor here, Dr. Palzik. I went in for a consultation regarding hyperhydrosis of the forehead and scalp (that's excess sweating). I tried the prescribed deodorant for a month and then discussed the next step which is botox. After being told by the doctor this was the way to go, the staff here never called me back, and I had to call them over an over again until them just giving up and saying insurance doesn't cover it on the scalp.

I went to another dermatologist office (Village Dermatology in Garden City which I highly recommend) and they IMMEDIATELY went through the proper steps and my insurance covered everything the next day. That's not to worst part of North Shore Dermatology. I got a bill in the mail today to pay them $26 for an acne procedure. I called them up and they show in their notes that I have some type of procedure which they can't even tell what it was. This is completely false and a lie. The doctor saw me for 3 minutes complaining how busy he was and that he didn't have enough time to discuss anything more than 1 thing with anybody. So yeah it's not a lot of money, but they robbed me of $26 for something I never had done.

I went there for sweating and they charged me for an acne procedure. The doctor never even touched me. This office is run terribly and I highly recommend staying away. They have no compassion for patients and just want to move people in and out as quickly as possible. And the parking lot is HORRIBLE!
