Linda is an amazing therapist. She helped our child overcome guilt and nightmares from going through parental alientation and has built up a wonderful trust relationship with both her patient and the family members who are trying to help.

After working with several child therapists over the years, she is by far the most observant, thorough, analytical, and accurate when it comes to determining exactly what is going on and addressing those issues. A true professional and team player with the families involved.

Linda is fantastic and insightful. She's very protective of children. She's very much on my children's side, not either adult's.

I read a review that she shares information with attorneys, staff, and anyone else she gets a chance too. Yes, because that's literally her job and what she's required to do. Having children play while they talk through things is called play therapy.

BEWARE...do NOT see Linda Van Valkenburg for ANYTHING. She will share your information with Attorneys, staff and anyone else she gets a chance too. She doesn't have any children, and cannot relate to any situations that a normal parent would respond to in a normal crisis situation. Don't waste your time or your money. She is very distracted and side tracked. You think she is visiting with your child; however, she is having them color and play alone while she tends to other cases.

Very good with kids. Builds a wonderful relationship and trusting rapport with kids. Kids like her tremendously. Highly recommend.
