It is a tough process, finding the right therapist. Ann was my first real serious attempt at trying to find a long-term therapist. It was a perfect match from the start, and please note I am extremely skeptical and picky. She is professional, yet easy-going. She takes her work very seriously and gives all of herself in caring for patients. She is real, fun, funny, while still treating the patient and the therapist-patient relationship with the highest respect. She is not only empathetic and smart (she knows what she is doing), she makes therapy a safe place; she is very conversational, the patient runs the show, so to speak. And, most importantly, she cares deeply for her patients and is not afraid to show it. I couldn't imagine myself or my life without her...and there are very few people in the world I could honestly say that about. If you are looking right now for someone, I highly recommend Ann- it is worth a shot, right?
