THEY DID NOT CALL MY INSURANCE BEFOREHAND: I have a small Insurance plan (about $20/month) that covers 2 fillings/year. I went to Dr. Newell's office last year and was told that I need to get several fillings done and that my insurance would cover it, as long as we would do some in that calendar year and some in 2012. So, I believed him and secretary and had them all done that way. Also, the service is very amiable and welcoming; the office is nice, the receptionists are kind and patient, the doctors are kind and do good work. I called the office of Dr Cooper, Marcy and Newell to get an answer why I have a HUGE bill statement in front of me. The receptionist told me something like this (very politely), I have major grievances about this; I was told by Dr. Newell (June, 2011) that my insurance would cover everything. The receptionist (February 2012) told me that it was always my responsibility to know my insurance plan in and out and stop any work that my insurance doesn't cover.
