I went to see Dr. Eggleston for a consult for an occlusal equilibration. He charged $120 for a brief visit and provided a written estimate for future services. The entire office smelled of artificial air fresheners which caused an immediate allergic reaction. I asked Dr. Eggleston and the receptionist if they would remove the Air Wicks before my next visit. Their response was very rude. I made my next appointment (which now became even more urgent since I had an emergency root canal with another dentist and Dr. Eggleston now needed to give me a crown in addition to doing the occlusal equilibration). Despite my emergency, they booked me out over a week. I reminded the receptionist to remove the air fresheners and even offered to have my husband do it so it wouldn't cause them any effort. Again they were rude. Two days later I received a certified letter telling me that they would not be providing me treatment. I called the office and asked why and they wouldn't tell me. I asked if it was because of the air freshener problem and they would not respond. The dentist didn't return my calls and so far, has not refunded my consult fee. So now I desperately need these services and have to start from scratch. I am a doctor of holistic nutrition and cannot believe their insensitivity to their client's individual health needs. He and his staff was incredibly unprofessional.
