My family bought into Curry's enthusiasm, but it led to neither a satisfactory experience nor results for any of us. At his clinic, they make sure to say they can't help in every case, but whatever the ailments we had, well yes, they could help with those. When we asked how long it would take, they told us it could be a few sessions and then "tune ups" twice a year, or it could take much longer. Needless to say, we were all in the "much longer" category. One of us stayed with the program for over a year. Absolutely no results. When each of us attempted to make our exit, it was difficult. Lots of pressure to re-up for another 3-mo. package. They do not want to let you out the door without at least an appointment on the calendar. The other acupuncturists were friendly enough but not particularly helpful. It was evident they were only there to do the acupuncture and questions were given perfunctory answers. Some staff were helpful, some not, none were trained professionals. The classes that were mandatory for new people were irritating - done by staff, should have been done by an acupuncturist.

Acupuncture may actually work for some people, maybe for many people, but probably almost never in just a few sessions. It seems disingenuous for them to dangle that carrot. It will most likely be a long-term commitment and thus extremely expensive. Oh yes, almost forgot: This clinic is expensive. We began checking and discovered that there are other acupuncturists out there that discuss things with you at every session and give you diet/supplement regimens personalized for you - for less money per session, even considering the package price at AHH Assoc.

My family and I have all found other help (not acupuncture) for our ailments and feel we simply wasted a lot of money at this clinic. Honestly, this is not an acupuncture clinic, it is an acupuncture factory. We just cannot recommend them at all.

They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. It was pretty hard to find the building, but I eventually found it. As you enter the door they are trying to sell you packages, put you on programs and make all kinds of efforts to get you involved with them. Very uncomfortable!

This practice is based on greed, pure and simple. They push buying packages at almost $5,000 a pop, and sell aggressive techniques they try and manipulate into getting all of your money. They take advantage of sick and desperate people and cater to wealthy clients. I find it really unprofessional and not at all "holistic."
