Michelle is a true healer. Until the summer of 2018 I had never tried acupuncture. My back and sciatica were so painful I couldn’t get out of bed..I was desperate and decided to try acupuncture. Through a series of visits and specific herbs and instructions I am now recovered and a firm believer in this magical healer. If you are suffering, don’t delay see Michelle and get your your life back.

Where can I begin except to tell you that our family has used Michelle for a variety of health conditions including low back pain for my husband, perimenopause symptoms for myself and anxiety for my teenage daugther. Each and every time we see her, she takes the time to listen to our story and make recommendations. Her nutrition and lfestyle recommendations have enhanced our family's health tremendously. She is not only knowledgeable, but kind and compassionate. What we also love is that she communicates and works with our doctors to help us get the best possible care.

I started seeing Michelle to help regulate my hormones and assist in getting pregnant. I had 2 miscarriages before going to see Michelle for acupuncture. After the initial exam with Michelle, I felt extremely hopeful that I was on the right track. She spent so much time with me and was very thorough. I had been in and out of other doctors offices always feeling rushed and like I was just a number. Michelle not only treated me with acupuncture, but also stressed the importance of healthy eating as well as other lifestyle factors. After just about 3 months of receiving weekly acupuncture treatments from Michelle and making the lifestyle adjustments she suggested, I was pregnant! I now have a healthy beautiful baby boy. I am so grateful for doctors like Michelle that care deeply about their patients. She is so knowledgable and caring, a true healer!

As a person who absolutely hates needles it took alot to try acupuncture. I was nervous but Michelle was able to calm me down and treat me with success. Walked in not able to stand up straight and within a couple of hours I was straight again. Michelle is a fabulous practitioner who I highly recommend.

Michelle is an excellent practitioner. Her knowledge of what she was treating me for was very impressive and accurate. She is an excellent listener, gentle, and kind. Her treatments along with her other recommendations have helped me tremendously. Within a few visits I started noticing major improvements in my energy and overall health. Michelle is trustworthy and I feel safe knowing that she is guiding me through my health concerns. I have been recommending Michelle to friends without hesitation!

My name is XXXXXX and I am a co-owner of XXXXX in New York City. Five years ago, I was referred to Michelle Iona because I was suffering from severe arthritis in my hands. As a golf fanatic, the thought of giving up golf because of the pain I had, was disastrous. I had been treated by the top orthopedic doctors in New York to no avail… injections and other therapies.
I thought acupuncture was BS, but was I wrong. I am playing golf pain free for the last five years because of the acupuncture treatments that Michelle Iona has given me. I have no more pain or swelling as long as I have bimonthly treatments.

Her knowledge, compassion and kindness are second to none. I highly recommend her.

Unprofessional. I was rushed, felt unrelaxed, and was not in a comfortable environment. I kept hearing about other pt.'s colons through the walls, doors slamming, and people walking up and down the halls. She left needles in my abdomen on one of my visits. When telling her I was uncomfortable she became angry and told me that I was in a doctors office. She had entered the room to obtain supplements for patients and to stock the cabinet. This is not part of the relaxing part of acupuncture and I was leaving with headaches. I was there to get rid of headaches. I would not suggest her.

I can't say enough about how Michelle has helped me and my family. I stumbled upon her office 7 years ago when I experienced severe pain. My doctor suggested I see Michelle and I'm glad I did. Since then my husband and children have seen her for a variety of complaints....pain, colds, flu and sleep. She is extremely knowledgeable and kind and goes the extra mile to help you feel your best. I highly recommend her and her office. She is located in both Quogue and Riverhead.
