I asked myself hundreds of times, is this really happening to me? I going to have chemotherapy? And the worst part of it was to come out of the denial state. I knew that chemo treatments were going to be hard, and the loss of my long hair would add to me the depression. My feminine part, my hair, in its entire highest splendor would fall away! With bravery I approach Rodolfo Valentin after read about his great compassion with cancer people and the best to recreate my hair. Is private atelier is located in a beautiful townhouse, in a very serene and peaceful ambiance. Rodolfo sweet like sugar, gently and respectfully when through the entire process making me feel like “ I was there for a new hairstyle consultation” and for a moment my mind left the reality, and I can say that I was enjoying... My new tresses were absolutely beautiful. I was strengthened and confident. It was a great comfort to actually appear healthy and all together. Thanks Rodolfo Valentin you are part of my most tender memories forever!-----

I found Rodolfo Valentin information in the "New York Hair Guide" . I was desperate for my hair loss due to chemotherapy as a result of my breast cancer. In a few weeks he created a Medical Cranial Hair Prosthesis which is a wig designed to fit the needs of women who have lost their hair due to medically related hair loss conditions as myself.
Rodolfo Valentin hair prosthesis is extremely light weight and have a very natural look.
Rodolfo also helped me with the reimbursement from my insurance company and he offer me to have a loaner until my wig was completed. He is a very nice, sweet person, very sensitive with women in our health situation. He is an angel, god bless you Rodolfo!

I was diagnosed with breast cancer one year ago. My biggest fear was losing my hair. I am red haired and had lots and lots of hair. I got a list of places to go, but how could I know who was the right person to do my wig? I went to a couple of places and had made up my mind until through word of mouth from my friends the last place I went to was Rodolfo Valentin’s salon. I met Rodolfo and immediately felt his reassurance, the mastery of his craft and his great sense of style. As he shared with me his mother’s battle with cancer, I felt tremendous sensitivity and empathy of what I was going through. I knew he was the person I was going to trust to make me look whole again. Rodolfo fitted me and made not only a beautiful wig, but one that was ME. People who lose their hair want to look like themselves and this was Rodolfo’s biggest achievement. I’ve gotten millions of compliments on my hair and now that I’m parting with my wig as my hair is growing back, there are so many people who are stunned to learn that what I was wearing for the past 8 months was a wig. I am indebted to Rodolfo and everyone who works with him for making this traumatic and emotional process not only tolerable but at times made me smile. His permanent smile and patience to please me in any way was and will always be something I will be eternally grateful for.
