Hello A.V. This is Dr. Husbands and I'm responding to your review. Because I do sincerely desire everyone to get the best results from seeking my care, as mentioned from the initial visit, you need to think of the dietary, nutritional supplement, and lifestyle changes as a change of life rather than temporary therapeutic regiman. Fatigue, high blood pressure, anxiety disorders and high cholesterol, are chronic disorders developing over the long-term, and you must think of adressing them over the long term rather than just "trying" something for 2-3 months. Best results are obtained with changing your thinking about health and disease and making lifestyle changes a permanent part of ones life.

I wanted to give the holistic approach a chance since my regular doctor insisted I be prescribed several drugs for my ailments. Reviewing Dr. Husbands on Yelp I felt that he was a logical choice in curing me in a natural way.

After following Dr. Husbands' advice on nutrition, meditation and exercise for several months my fatigue, depression, blood pressure and high cholesterol have not improved at all. Dr. Husbands seemed to be sincere and caring but his holistic methods didn't work for me. And he doesn't accept any insurance plans which can be very pricey for visits.

As much as I didn't want to resort to adding chemicals into my body, it became necessary to be prescribed medication by my regular doctor to control my BP, depression and bad cholesterol.

They made sure that their qualifications were obvious. I was confident that I was under the care of a professional. Their office was well organized and clean. Douglas K Husbands, DC talked about my X-Rays with me thoroughly to make sure I knew everything about my condition and about my treatment options. Douglas K Husbands, DC definitely cares about their patients. They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. I was amazed at how much better I felt after my adjustments. Douglas K Husbands, DC was fantastic!
