I have been seeing Dr. Smith on and off since 2006 or 2007. I am relatively tall with bad posture and have always been troubled with back problems, which have been exacerbated by sitting hunched over a computer 10-12 hours per day, 5 days per week for my job.

About once every year or two, I “throw my back out” and begin treatment with Dr. Smith to fix it, continuing with the visits until my back is feeling better. Historically, I believe it’s been around a dozen visits to get feeling better, at which point I stop the visits.

When I first started seeing Dr. Smith, he adjusted my back using the Pro Adjuster. Since then, he has used a number of different techniques depending on what seems to be most effective for me and my back. He typically incorporates muscle testing into his treatments to identify my problem areas for adjustments. Over the years he has also given me various exercises to do on my own. My back problems would likely be less if I were more diligent about following the Doctor’s orders. I have been very impressed with Dr. Smith’s knowledge and continued efforts to learn and refine more techniques so that he can find the best technique for each patient he treats.

Prior to Dr. Smith, I have been treated over the years by at least three other chiropractors. All of them practiced what I view as “traditional” chiropractic techniques involving lots of joint-popping adjustments and little else. Dr. Smith takes a much more holistic approach that, at least for me, has been much more effective in treating my back pain.

As a final point, my health insurance plan covers a certain number of chiropractic visits per year to any of the designated providers under the plan. Dr. Smith is not one of the designated providers and is therefore not covered by my plan. However, I continue to see Dr. Smith and pay out of pocket when my back pain flares up because of the positive results he has delivered.

I was suffering from knee pain for about a year before I saw Dr. Jason Smith. I couldn’t even take a trip to the grocery store without being in severe pain. After the first visit with Dr. Smith I felt like my knee was almost normal again. He gave me exercises to do so I could permanently fix my problem. My knee would relapse a little and then I would go back and he would fix it again. My knee is only getting stronger now and I can feel it! After seeing four different chiropractors, I am finally seeing a chiropractor who actually fixes the problem, not just the symptoms! Thanks Dr. Smith!

I suffered from daily headaches for 8 months. I was taking Ibuprofen for them on a daily basis. I tried going to several different doctors including an ENT, an allergist, a neurologist and even another chiropractor. I was prescribed several different medications, all of which didn't seem to make much of a difference. I had an MRI and a CT scan, both of which came back as normal. No one seemed to be able to tell me why I was having these headaches and no one seemed to be able to help. I felt very hopeless and began to resign myself to the fact that I may just have to live with these headaches. As a last ditch effort, I thought I'd try another chiropractor. Luckily Dr. Smith was covered by my insurance and figured I may as well give him a try. I have gone to him for about 3 months now. The difference in my headaches is huge. Slowly over the 3 months they lessened in frequency and severity. When I do have headaches now, they are barely noticeable and rarely do I have to take ibuprofen for the pain. I would recommend him over and over.
