To say lightly, I did not have a pleasant experience the couple of visits i'd had at Jackson Chiropractic earlier this year. In fact I would qualify it as unprofessional and inappropriate. I feel I have absolute reason to question Jackson's morality and if any woman is safe under his care. I'm going to start at the surface. Please read until the end.

Upon my first appointment I quickly started to feel as if it wasn't the right fit. All parts of the process felt very rushed and some parts of it even pushy. From initial scheduling, to the info I was given about chiropractic care, to the break down of what they'd found upon my evaluation, to the adjustments themselves, which most of the time were done with machines that I also got what felt like a half baked explanation on. The office often seemed like some what of a rat race due to all of this. I once received a voice mail from his receptionist after choosing to leave the office stating "please give me a call back so I can quit calling you". That turned me off. I recall Mr. Jackson bouncing back and forth from the room I was getting an adjustment in, to another clients to finish up with them, with both room doors wide open. At first I shrugged it off and didn't think much of it but in retrospect, along with other factors, I think it's unprofessional.

I was thrown much information in such a little amount of time in a very rushed manner. I was also thrown into what felt like several tests for my evaluation, which I didn't mind, but I didn't feel they were explained thoroughly. I found myself asking the same questions the couple of appointments I had so as to better understand and retain the information but as rushed as it was, it was hard for me to. I felt the level of care was miniscule as it seemed to be more about how many clients there was to care for. It did not feel like quality care.

And last but most importantly. My last appointment confirmed for me why I'd felt so "off" about this experience and Mr. Jackson being the right chiropractor for me. While all of the above should've been enough for me to decide to try another chiropractor, it took a very uncomfortable and questionable moment for me to decide to not go back. And I am a little nervous to speak up upon this but I feel I owe it to myself, and anyone else who has possibly had such an experience.

I went in for an adjustment. As usual we started with one of the machines he uses. After that he'd instructed me to lay face down on another of the other machines he uses which was more of a manual (hands on) adjustment. Nothing out of the norm yet. As he started to perform the adjustment I noticed he placed his hand on my VERY lower back for much longer than what felt comfortable or reasonable. I had a very weird feeling about it. I usually wear high wasted jeans but I was going in to work after my adjustment and the work pants I wore that day were lower cut. I had a belt on and I recall his hands being so low on my back side that it was just above or a bit on my belt. I remember VIVIDLY that his hand was on my BARE skin. NOT over my shirt. I felt sort of choked up and confused in the moment of it. I didn't know what to do. By the time I started to feel those emotions he had moved his hand and continued performing the adjustment. I honestly do not remember much of the actual adjustment after that point. Reflecting and trying to recall I realize that I may have been a little shocked. What I remember happened next is he lent me his hand to come up off of the equipment, which was okay, but the moment I stood up I noticed he was WAY too close for comfort again. He held me close to him. I believe his right arm was around me and pulling me in, and it felt as if his face was only inches from mine. It is hard for me to recall exactly what he said but it was something to the effect of implying that I might get dizzy from getting up from that position. I felt so thrown off and confused in those moments.

I want to add one more thing that struck me as "off". I recall on what was my first or second visit him exclaiming how impressed he was with how well i'd taken care of my body. Nothing wrong with that? Thanks! I recall roughly in quote "I would take you to Chicago and show you off!". He was referring to a chiropractic event of some sort. Hmm. What confused me all the more is he ALSO told me how in rough shape I was brain wise. How one side of my brain was working MUCH harder than the other side. He mentioned a few things that spoke of me being a complete mess and needing 3 visits a week. I am a 25. An entirely torn C4 too? My current chiropractor found nothing to the extent. It seemed he was selling me more than was true.

And lastly, I would like to say I am absolutely NOT over exaggerating ANY part of the experience. He DID NOT go any further than anything I had mentioned. But he also did nothing less. If you have had a similar experience, PLEASE speak up. Thank you for taking the time to read.
