I have seen Dr. Nancy Burns as needed, for more than 25 years. I can honestly say, she has assisted me in getting well when many other professionals couldn't! I have a scoliotic curve in my spine as a complication of Cerebral Palsy. From day one Dr. Burns and her staff have been caring and compassionate. Dr. Burns is professional and extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her to anyone. I feel blessed to have her as part of my medical team!

Dr. Burns is the best. She is always there when I need her. She puts me back together from one-end-to-the-other from all kinds of issues. She is the kindest - yet toughest - let's get you fixed and back on your feet. I have recommended her to both my family and friends.

CATION: Do not use this chiropractor if you have been hurt in an accident. I was hurt in a bike riding accident in June of 2011. I experienced a lot of pain in my right hip, as I believed the bike had come up and jarred me during my fall. I went to Nancy Burns and relayed exactly what had happened during the accident. She conferred that my hip was out of whack, and worked on me. I even went back for a follow up visit to make sure that the hip and back were aligned properly. I subsequently filed a law suit regarding the particulars of the accident; not so much for my hip, but a head injury that I had also encountered. My lawyer tried several time to get my records from Nancy; he needed all hospital and medical bills I accrued during treatment from the fall. Nancy Burn’s office was not forthcoming with the records, and when my lawyer called her office, her secretary told my lawyer that Nancy said: “I had not been forthcoming with her.”

Firstly, I was VERY forthcoming about my accident, and described it with some detail. I didn’t file suit until months later, when they wouldn’t release the pictures form the accident site. Secondly, who is she to tell this to her secretary anything to convey to someone’s lawyer? VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! If she had an issue or questions about my wanting or needing my medical records from her, she could have called me personally.

If Nancy Burns doesn’t want to speak on behalf of accident victims she should put this in her literature she makes you sign in with. DO NOT VISIT THIS CHIROPRACTOR IF YOU HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT…VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

I usually feel much better after my appointment. The treatment and advice reduces or eliminates the pain or probem. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and committed. They use a knowledgeable and humanistic approach to healing. I've been more than satisfied with my visits. I'll definitely be going back.

Nancy is kind and thoughtful, always looking at the whole patient. The waiting area is clean, and the other therapists and practitioners in the space are equally compassionate. The Bennington Center or the Healing Arts is a great asset to the community.
