I slipped on black ice and broke my knee and tore the tendons that hold the knee cap in place. I initially went to California to get chiropractic care but have recently came home after 1year. Dr. Goforth willingly took my complicated case and has afforded me to remain drug free to date. It is my conviction that if someone values not being toxically contaminated by taking drugs, they will utilize chiropractic treatments to obtain optimum health. I am most grateful to Dr. Goforth & his staff for providing me the kind care they afford all who are privaledged to be recipients of chiropractic care.

I had an appointment for a FREE consultation at 3:30. I arrived 10 minutes early because I was a new customer and knew I needed to fill out paperwork. I did not get seen until 4:15. Goforth asked me what my problem area was, then made me walk, raise my arms and contorted me into different positions. He told me I needed to do some "exercises" and that his assistant would show me. The assistant then told me that my "Free Consultation" was actually an "Exam" that would cost me $71 and if I wanted to learn the exercises, I would need to buy this lumbar support thingy that was specifically designed for the lower back. That would cost me an extra $70. I asked if there was anything he could do to relieve my lower back pain and he said he could stretch me out, but that would cost extra too. Because Goforth didn't offer it to me, I didn't think it would help and he was just looking for extra money. I didn't buy the lumbar tool, so I didn't get told of the exercises. I did pay the $71 for the exam, but I feel I got taken advantage of. If I was going to pay money for an exam, I would've just went to a doctor. At least my insurance would've covered it. Looking back, I should've never paid since I was going in for a "Free" consultation. Hindsight is always 20/20.
