Dr.Macias diagnosed a problem I have had for over 45 years. I have been passing out ending up in the hospital on several occasions with concussions and needing stitches. I have been to neurologist and cardiologist. Thanks to Dr Macias I finally have been diagnosed with vestibular headaches. I also had a stapedectomy over 40 years ago in both ears. Ten years ago my hearing loss was again declining but doctors did not want to redo the surgery. But again thanks to Dr Macias I have had the surgery in one ear which was a success & waiting to have it in the other ear. Dr. Macias comes highly recommend.

I had suddenly woke up one morning with complete hearing loss in my left ear on a Friday morning. I went to Urgent Care and was sent to another doctor. I loved this doctors office, staff and him at first. However, due to the fact that it was late in the day on a Friday he didn't want to do a steroid injection into the ear (I feel because of the day/time) even though I had asked for everything possible that could help. I left feeling frustrated and contacted my PA. She then referred me to Dr. Macias and I am so thankful! I saw him on Tuesday and he did an injection immediately and informed me of the studies into this treatment completely. I left with hope and am returning today for follow up one month later. I am hopeful that he will do everything within his power to help and if I do not have my hearing return it isn't for lack of trying on his part. I will recommend anyone with an ear problem to see Dr. Macias. Not to mention his bedside manner was awesome!

No, they've never taken personal calls with me

I had a bad perforation caused by another doctor in my right eardrum in Tucson. I went and saw the best doctor (ENT) in Tucson to correct a mistake. Both doctors told me I need tympanoplasty and it was going to be a 3 hour surgery and I would not be able to work for 3-6weeks and informed me it was going to be a very brutal recovery. GOD blessed me and somehow was referred to Dr. Macias. I went in there not expecting anything and assumed he couldn't help me but for some reason I gave it a shot. He looked in my ear ...told me he could fix me in 15 minutes and 3 weeks later I'm healed. If u want a true professional and one of the best in the nation Dr. John Macias is your guy, he isn't hard to find, don't let anyone cut on your ear without having him evaluate you. Save yourself from dealing with armatures...deal with a pro, and every other surgery I had I was horribly
nauseated.....he uses the best, he has a kick ass anesthesiologist that hooked me up....oh and I didn't have to miss work or take any pain pills.....Airborne!!!!'
