Dr. Stanley Alexander did a fantastic job on my son's hand back in January 2011..however, the surgery took twice as long and my son woke up not the same child emotionally. I tried to talk with Dr. Alexander about it and he became defensive and would not speak about it. His billing practices are extremely shady and I feel border the illegal side, especially when he did not inform us until after the surgery that he does not take insurance. Not only did his billing practices, but his staff was rude, I would call to question about a bill and his receptionist acted like I was a "bother" and the conversations were never pleasant. I was equally upset with Dayton Childrens Medical Center for allowing him to have privileges there without requiring him to be upfront and honest with parents/guardians of these pediatric clients about his billing practices.

They definitely don't have a good professional reputation within my community. Everyone knows they're not trustworthy at all. They never take that extra step to make me feel special. I haven't ever felt that they care enough to get to know me and that I'm almost an irritation. Since I wasn't completely satisfied with my results, I can't say I would recommend them to anyone else. I don't think they have any qualifications! There definitely wasn't anything displayed. The staff was rude and unhelpful. They were not friendly at all!Dayton Children's claims him as staff and he doesn't accept insurance. Bills services at a rediculous cost and will heartlessly send you to collections without reasonable payment options. He is a giant SCAM!!! Would never recommend unless you want a GIANT unreasonable BILL!!!! Heartless, scam artist who plays the system and hearts of concerned parents!!

My son had emergency surgery and he looks tremendous now, after 3 years. The doctor really spent his time and did it right, and we are forever grateful. I would rate Dr. Alexander low based on office etiquitte, office staff and scheduling. He does great work, but also is lacking good policies for hard working paying customers. I paid $32K towards our $38K bill in less than a year, but still ended up in collections. The office staff dropped my son from their patient list and I cannot talk to the doctor without them adding that 'time on the phone' added to the bill.

Absolutely not! I was never uncomfortable

Not at all! They always respect my decisions

Very much so! They have the utmost respect for the cosmetic surgeon
