I n 2007 I had lap-band surgery done by Dr. Sheldon Randall. The following day he was present, and asked if I had any questions. Dr. Randall answered all my questions, and made me feel very at ease. The surgery was a success. Dr. Randall exhibited himself and the medical field as a professional beginning to the end of my experience. All my goals pertaining to my surgery have been met. Thank you Dr. Randall. Before I go let me just add that Dr. Randall's staff was very much representative also. Thank you all.

This evening, I found out that Dr Randall's license to practice medicine had been suspended by the State Board of Medecine. Here is there press release:

WAKEFIELD: At its meeting on August 16, 2013, the state Board of Registration in Medicine took disciplinary action against the medical license of Sheldon Randall, M.D.

The Board summarily suspended Dr. Randall's medical license, finding him an immediate and serious threat to the public health, safety or welfare. The Board based its decision on allegations that Dr. Randall's treatment of four patients failed to meet the standard of care. Dr. Randall is a 1978 graduate of the Centro de Estudios Universitarios Xochicalco and was first licensed to practice medicine in Massachusetts in 1985. He practiced general surgery in Medford and Natick.

Eleven years ago, Dr Randall killed my father. He was performing a gastric bypass reversal and failed to sew up three holes in his stomach. My Dad developed sepsis and died five weeks later.

My family and I decided to not sue for malpractice. We filed a complaint with the Board of Medicine, but nothing was ever done.

I am glad that Dr Randall will never take someones life away again.

There was lots of available parking at their office. I was glad that I didn't have to drive around looking for parking. They keep the restrooms well-stocked here, and not just with the basics. There is mouthwash, lotion and other amenities. You can tell they want their clients to be as comfortable as possible. I'll definitely be going back. I didn't have a bad experience. They gave me sufficient information to make a decision about my treatment plan.
