Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup smooth natural peanut butter

  • 1/3 cup orange juice

  • 3 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon ricevinegar

  • 2 teaspoons sugar

  • 4 teaspoons canola oil, divided

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 pound sirloin beef steak, trimmed and thinly sliced

  • 1 small head Savoy cabbage, thinly sliced

  • 2-5 tablespoons water

  • 2 medium carrots, grated

Directions

  • In a medium bowl, combine peanut butter, orange juice, soy sauce, vinegar, and sugar, whisking until smooth.

  • Heat oil in a medium skillet. Cook garlic over medium-high heat for 1 minute. Add steak and cook 2-4 minutes until barely pink in the middle. Transfer meat to a bowl.

  • Reduce heat and add oil. Cook cabbage in 1-2 tablespoons of water for 3-5 minutes. Stir in carrots and more water if necessary. Cook 3 minutes more until tender. Add steak back into pan, stirring well. Pour peanut sauce on top, tossing well to combine.
