Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon water

  • 1 large egg white

  • 5 packets of artificial sweetener

  • 2 cups English walnuts, shelled

  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

Directions

  • Preheat an oven to 225 degrees Fahrenheit and cover a shallow baking pan with aluminum foil.

  • Beat the water and egg white in a bowl until foamy. Add the walnuts and toss to coat evenly.

  • Pour into a strainer and drain for a few minutes.

  • Mix the artificial sugar and cinnamon in a plastic bag. Add the walnuts, close the bag, and shake vigorously.

  • Place the walnuts on the baking pan.

  • Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
