Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour

  • 1/2 cup roughly chopped walnuts

  • 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon chips

  • 2 tablespoons sweetened coconut flakes

  • 1/4 cup mix of dried berries and cherries

  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 2 tablespoons ground flaxseeds

  • 1/4 teaspoons baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 1/2 cups milk

  • 1 egg

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  • Preheat an oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Line a baking dish with parchment paper.

  • In a bowl, combine the oats, flour, walnuts, chocolate and cinnamon chips, berries, cherries, sunflower seeds, brown sugar, flax seeds, baking soda, and salt.

  • In a separate bowl, whisk the milk, egg, and vanilla extract.

  • Add the wet ingredients to dry ingredients, stirring well.

  • Transfer to the baking dish, smoothing into an even layer.

  • Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Cool for 10 minutes, then remove with the parchment paper and cut into 10 equally-sized bars.
