Ingredients

  • 2 sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced thin

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar

  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • Nonstick cooking spray

Directions

  • Preheat an oven to 375ºF.

  • Spray two baking sheets with non-stick cooking spray. Place sweet potato slices on the baking sheets in a single layer. Lightly spray the tops of the potato slices with cooking spray. Place baking sheets in oven and cook for 7-10 minutes or until light brown. Remove from oven and flip potato slices over and cook for another 7-10 minutes or until lightly brown. Repeat these steps if there are more sweet potato slices to bake.

  • In a small bowl, mix the cumin, sugar, chili powder, and salt.

  • In a large bowl, place all the baked potato slices and add the spice mixture. Mix and toss the contents in the bowl so that each chip is covered in spices.
