Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

  • 1pound chicken breasts

  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons honey

Directions

  • Blend together the thyme, salt, and pepper and use it to season both sides of the chicken breasts.

  • In a large nonstick skillet, heat the oil in the pan over medium or medium-high heat. Add the chicken to the pan and cook each side for 7-8 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked.

  • Move the chicken to a serving dish and keep warm while preparing the sauce.

  • To prepare the sauce, lower the heat to medium-low and add the balsamic vinegar and honey to the skillet. Simmer for 1 minute or until the glaze appears to thicken; stir the glaze continuously. Pour the glaze from the pan over the warm chicken.
