Make sure you have activated your membership. To do this refer to the email that was sent to you upon signing up and click on the activation link. If you still have trouble logging in after clicking the correct activation link from the email sent to you when you registered, check your activation email to make sure you are entering the correct login information.
I forgot my password or username.
If you forgot your password, on the
login page click the link that says "Forgot your password?" If you forgot your username, reference the email that was sent to you from Wellness.com when you first registered.
I never received an activation email.
There are a couple of reasons why this might have happened. First, check your bulk or spam email folder to confirm the activation email wasn't blocked by your spam filter.
If you don't find the activation email in your bulk/spam folder and still can't find it, you may have misspelled or incorrectly entered your email address on the registration form. Confirm that you entered the correct email address when registering by trying to create a new account with that email. If the original email you entered was incorrect, the registration form will enable you to create a new account with the correct email. If the original email was correct you will be alerted that an account already exists with that email.

How can I have my information removed from your website?
Wellness.com does not remove listings for active doctors or health practices because we provide an objective third party rating and review system for consumers. Consumers have a right to rate and read reviews about all health practitioners regardless of whether they are accepting new patients or not. Since the name and contact info for licensed health practitioners are public information, Wellness.com is protected by law from any attempt to remove a listing.
Wellness.com will only remove listings for doctors or health practices that do not exist or are no longer actively practicing (retired, deceased, incorrect name). To remove such a listing, visit our "
Contact Us" page, fill out the contact form, provide the information listed, request that it be removed, and provide a reason why. Our team will review the request and if it meets the removal criteria, it will be removed. There are many advantages to being listed on Wellness.com, so unless you don't want more patients or business, it makes sense to continue to have your listing on Wellness.com.
Your information about me in your health directory is totally wrong. How did you get my information?
If your information is incorrect, we apologize. We strive to keep our information as accurate as possible, but with over 1 million professionals, there are bound to be a handful of mistakes. Our information is compiled from a variety of sources -- some public domain -- and checked for accuracy. Even the White and Yellow Pages also make some mistakes. When we become aware of a mistake we correct it immediately. If your information is in error, visit our "
Contact Us" page, fill out the contact form, and provide the information listed, and provide details on how you would like it to be corrected.
How can I have a negative rating about my practice removed?
Wellness.com understands that some providers are concerned about receiving negative ratings on their profiles. Please understand that Wellness.com is a neutral and impartial third party rating system, similar to the rating and review process used by Amazon.com or Ebay.com. Whether the rating was written by a patient, ex-employee, ex-spouse, or business competitor, anyone has the right to provide their opinion. Ratings can help consumers make better choices in selecting quality products, services, and healthcare is no different.
Other than the BBB, few websites have the resources to act as an intermediary between businesses and customers or to track down facts and proof of who is telling the "truth." Ratings are a numbers game. If your business or practice has a positive impact on its clients or patients, then positive ratings have the same opportunity to outweigh negative ones.
Providers have three options to improve their rating on Wellness.com:
- Providers may contact the Wellness.com member who submitted the negative rating and try to resolve the grievance to their satisfaction. Contact can be made with members using the private message option on Wellness.com.
- Providers may post a public reply to any rating with their version of the situation.
- Providers may send satisfied patients to Wellness.com to post positive ratings at any time.
Wellness.com members leave ratings to inform other people of their experiences. Ratings represent members' opinions. Wellness.com cannot edit these comments nor can we investigate them for accuracy. Members could be held legally responsible for damages to a physician's or practice's reputation, if a court were to find that the remarks were lies and constitute defamation.
Under federal law (the Communications Decency Act), because Wellness.com does not censor ratings or investigate them for accuracy, Wellness.com is not legally responsible for the ratings that members post, even if those remarks are defamatory. However, this law does not protect the member who writes the negative rating/review.
Members may be held legally responsible for making false defamatory comments intended to damage a provider's reputation.
