I was hospitalized at Sibley in September 2009 and Dr. Kane was brought in as an expert on my serious situation. He was respectful, very concerned, and followed up daily with a phone call at a minimum when he was not able to visit me in person to update me on lab results, etc. He was very knowledgeable and managed to be the one doctor on the team who accurately diagnosed what the condition was. Even after a lengthy recovery, he contacted me to see how I was doing. I highly recommend him.

Doctor James Kane is one of the worst doctors I have ever encountered in my lifetime. He looks down on his patients and hardly said a word to me during hospitalization. Either he is an incompetent doctor or senile and ready to retire. This is a serious concern as the hospital where I was at (Sibley Memorail Hospital) should be made aware that such a doctor has priveleges at their facility.
