I went to this doctor because my inflammation levels were extremely high and my primary suspected RA. His staff was nice and it was easy to get to but it's too bad this guy is a total jerk. He rushed my appointment like I was on a game show and my responses were timed. I felt very uncomfortable. Then he proceeded to tell me my symptoms were all in my head and that the cause of my pain was related to my weight. He described it as "people who are rounder like you experience these pain symptoms often". He told me to eat better (despite having no knowledge of my eating habits) and would see me in 6 weeks. I called my primary and told him what happened and he cancelled my appointment for me and sent me to another doctor, where I was properly diagnosed with RA.

It was pretty easy to for me to find their office. I’ve been to other doctors that work out of an office in the middle of nowhere, but not this one. They didn't have the best parking, but it wasn't the worst either. I eventually found a spot. I've been to one or two places that had a really bad smell. I was worried I would encounter it here too but I didn't notice anything. I was never unhappy with my treatment until recently when I made my 1st emergency phone call to his office in over 8 years of seeing him every 2 months. Instead of asking me to come in he phoned in an Rx for steroids and refused my request for pain meds. He told me to go to the ER for evaluation because he didn't think RA was the cause of my pain. After going to the ER I was given a much higher dose of steroids and enough pain meds to get me thru til the steroids did their job. It was an acute RA flare that I was experiencing. I will be looking for a new RA doctor.
