Have been a patient of Dr. Marakas for many years. Several years ago I made an appointment because I wasn't feeling normal. He did his usual check-up and left the room. When he came back he told me that I should go to St. E's downtown that there was a room and a bed waiting for me. Of course I questioned him about this and he told me that he thought I should have some tests done in the hospital. That evening the staff was able to prevent a heart attack form taking place. Of course I would highly recommend Dr. Marakas to anyone.

They put in the extra effort to make me feel valued and comfortable during each appointment. They are one of the most welcoming offices I've ever visited. I will with no question recommend them to everyone I know in need of an internist. Dr. Marakas is always caring. He was my physician for over 20 years, and I am always pleased with his care. . When everyone else wanted to give up on my medical situation, he stuck by me all the way, and made sure I received the best care. My family loves him dearly. I don't live in the state any longer, but I check back at times to make sure he is fine,. In fact, Dr Hayes and Lesnoski are of the same quality. Dr, Hayes helped saved my son's life at birth, We will always be indebted to her, also, Trumbull Mahoning Medical Group is family. I would be remiss if I left before mentioning the 3 nurses that have been there since the 80's. My memory doesn't hold up well, but I remember 2, but I will not call names if I cant name all of them. If I could, I would travel to Ohio each month from NC to go to my appts.
