Though Corey grew up in Lancaster, PA, he spent most of his school years in large metropolitan areas. In college, he was an NCAA competitive snowboarder and rock climber. He is happy to be returning to a more rural setting, especially one so close to his passions of rock climbing, mountain biking and hiking. He also enjoys spending time with his extended family in Rifle and Vail, and his Australian Shepherd, Nash.

A proud military veteran, Corey spent 6 years in the Army National Guard. He graduated from Liberty University in southern Virginia, then completed his graduate studies at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN.
