Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: What started out as a summer job in middle school in my Aunt's family practice, introduced me to an environment that I could not forget. I admired how much her patient's trusted her and had confidence in the proposed treatment plan. Throughout my training, I saw a need for well trained physicians, specifically in primary care. Given that health outcomes involve many different aspects of one's life, I decided to pursue this as my career. What I want my patients to know about me: I have a multicultural background and have actually lived in four different countries. Each experience has contributed to how I practice medicine and how I am able to connect with patients from different walks of life.
