I embrace the midwifery model of care as a means of providing compassionate primary, gynecological, and pregnancy/birth care rooted solidly in the best scientific evidence for women across their lifespans. I believe strongly in empowering patients through education and viewing health from a holistic perspective. I live with my husband and children in Durham where I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, camping, running, biking, or just relaxing in a hammock on the back deck with a good book.
