Whitney Gilley, MD

This is a small practice where I believe in taking time with patients. As an M.D. specialist in psychiatry, I offer both therapy and medication options when needed. This is a therapy-focused practice where patients come for short-term or open-ended therapy. I offer a collaborative approach to care where we work together on treatment that fits your individual needs and goals. To do this, I take a whole-person approach to patient care.

Services My focus is helping patients manage stress and heal from conditions including depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and PTSD. I also provide treatment during pregnancy and postpartum for mood and anxiety symptoms. My sincere goal is not just to treat symptoms but to help patients take steps to improve their overall quality of life.

I offer online visits and the option for weekly therapy. Services include assessment and diagnostic evaluation, counseling, therapy, and medication options.

Therapy offered directly with your doctor includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Supportive therapy and counseling, Psychodynamic psychotherapy (insight-oriented therapy), and eclectic and integrative therapies.

You do not have to spilt your care between a therapist and someone who prescribes medication. If we decide medication would be beneficial for your particular needs, I provide non-controlled (meaning, non-narcotic or non-sedative/hypnotic) psychiatric medication options.
