Veronica Meawad, MD, is an attending physician and Assistant Professor, Medicine at Montefiore Einstein. Dr Meawad’s clinical focus is on caring for patients with allergic and immunologic disorders, including allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, urticaria and angioedema, chronic rhinosinusitis, food allergy, drug allergy and anaphylaxis. A graduate of Tufts University, Dr Meawad earned her Bachelor of Arts in biology-psychology in 2012, followed by her medical doctorate at the institution’s School of Medicine in 2016. She pursued her medical training at Yale New Haven Hospital, completing her internal medicine residency in 2019, and her allergy and clinical immunology fellowship in 2021.
